A Different Perspective
Many of our volunteers have faced their own battles with hardship, isolation, and loss. Through volunteering, they gain a powerful realization that transforms their outlook on life:

It teaches gratitude, responsibility, and compassion. Every outreach is a reminder that we are all part of one community, and that together, we can lift each other up. Where We Operate
Our outreach teams serve across Greater Sydney, focusing on areas with the highest concentrations of rough sleepers and those in temporary accommodation. We regularly visit key locations in the CBD, Inner West, Western Sydney, and coastal areas where vulnerable populations gather.
Each location is carefully assessed for safety, accessibility, and need. We coordinate with local councils, police, and other service providers to ensure our outreach complements — rather than duplicates — existing services.
Our Schedule
We conduct regular outreach events throughout the week, with additional special events during extreme weather conditions and holiday periods when those on the streets are most vulnerable. Our core schedule ensures consistent presence so that the people we serve know they can count on us.
Special initiatives include winter warm packs during cold snaps, festive meal services during holidays, and emergency response when severe weather threatens the safety of rough sleepers. We adapt our approach to meet the evolving needs of the community.
